Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul intermodal freight between Toledo-area rail yards and customers within a 250-mile radius. This home-daily role offers an annual pay around $83,000 with a $10,000 bonus and extra pay for hazmat and border-crossing loads.

Expect 53-foot containers, slip seating, and no-touch freight. Shifts are Tuesday–Saturday, starting 6–7 PM, with 10–12 hour days and home daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT medical card and clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience.
• Passport or FAST Pass for Canada freight; reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Haul intermodal freight between Toledo-area rail yards and customers within a 250-mile radius.
• Operate 53-foot intermodal containers with slip seating; no-touch freight.
• Home daily with evening start times; 6:00–7:00 PM; 10–12 hour shifts; 24/7 account.
