Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul intermodal freight around the Toledo area with home daily on a Tue–Sat schedule. The role offers an annual pay around $83,000 plus a $10,000 bonus, and additional pay for hazmat and border-crossing loads.

Expect roughly 1,100 miles per week with 10–12 hour shifts. Drivers operate 53-foot containers with slip seating, and must have a CDL-A, valid DOT medical card, and endorsements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 180 days of hire.
• Tanker endorsement required within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Haul intermodal freight between Toledo-area rail yards and customers within a 250-mile radius.
• Operate 53-foot intermodal containers with slip seating.
• No-touch freight and home daily schedule.
