Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul no-touch freight to Chicago-area rail yards. This Monday–Friday role offers daily home time, paid training, and a $10,000 bonus after joining the team.

Drivers can expect about 1,500 miles per week, 100% no-touch freight, and a start time around 11:00 PM with home daily. Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• No-touch intermodal freight experience preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire recommended.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Haul no-touch intermodal freight to Chicago-area rail yards.
• Travel to Chicago rail yards daily with 1,500 miles per week typical.
• Maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Earn factors like wait/ ramps/drops as described in pay details.
