Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a CDL-A driver to operate a tractor-trailer on local routes, delivering food products to restaurant customers with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will complete vehicle inspections, DOT logs, and paperwork while communicating with dispatch and store teams.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Relocation bonuses and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Route Details & Equipment:

• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule: 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM or 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• All trailers are equipped with lift gates (no ramps)
• Touch freight- must be able to lift up to 75+ lbs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

Requirements:

• Valid class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• 1+ year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong communication and clear customer service skills with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements

* The expected range for this position is $29.00/hour - $37.75/hour (For Hourly, Non-Exempt Roles)
