Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a CDL A driver for local routes, home daily with weekend premiums. Starting weekday rate is $38.70/hr and up to $40.70/hr on weekends. The role requires DOT-compliant duties, lift 75+ lbs, and flexible night/weekend work in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, DOT logs, and loading/unloading using pallet jacks. Weekly pay and uniforms provided; benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

Route Details & Equipment:

• Start times are between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, 10 to 14 hour shifts
• 4-days on, 3 days off work schedule
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers are equipped with lift gates (no ramps)
• Touch freight-must be able to lift up to 75+ lbs.
• Drivers average 40-50 hours a week

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

Requirements:

• Valid class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• 1+ year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong communication and clear customer service skills with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements
