Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution, part of the Golden State Foods family, seeks CDL drivers to operate diesel tractors on local routes with home daily. You will deliver food products to restaurant customers, load and unload with hand trucks, and perform DOT inspections.

This position requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of driving experience, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active, and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks – touch freight.
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit paperwork accurately.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members.
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.

Route Details & Equipment:

• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Typically 4 X12s - weekend work
• All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs.

Requirements:

• A valid Class A CDL
