Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is hiring a Class A CDL driver for local routes in Minnesota. This role offers home daily schedules and a comprehensive benefits package, with weekly pay and a $6,000 sign-on bonus. Expect 4 days per week with 12-14 hour shifts and potential for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Drivers deliver food products to restaurant customers, load/unload with pallet jacks, and maintain DOT logs and inspections. Training pay starts at $27.45/hr.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Current DOT medical card required.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

Route Details & Equipment:

• Overnight driving and dispatch times are between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, depending on route
• 4 days per week, with possibility of a 5th day, 12-14 hours per day
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as a part of a 24/7 operation
• All trailers are equipped with lift gates (no ramps)
• 100% touch freight–must be able to lift up to 75+ lbs.
• Drivers average 10 - 15 stops per day

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Must be able to handle packaged Chicken, Beef, or Pork products
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

Requirements:

• Valid class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• 1+ year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong communication and clear customer service skills with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements

*Pay: During training, pay is $27.45 per hour. After training, Drivers are paid under a component-based structure that varies by client and route, with average annual earnings typically ranging from $95,000 - $130,000 per year. Pay may be based on set route pay or on mileage and the number of cases delivered. Other compensation may include shift differentials, overtime pay, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
