Job summary

United Rentals in Fargo, ND is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You will be a company ambassador, with a focus on exceptional service and ensuring you are home every night due to local operations.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, operating trucks and trailers, maintaining logs, and upholding safety standards. This role emphasizes strong communication and reliable teamwork within a prominent equipment rental leader.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as needed.
