Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver equipment, serve as a company ambassador, and provide exceptional customer service. You will be home each night and have opportunities to advance with the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up equipment, operating trucks and trailers, maintaining logs, and performing pre-trip inspections while complying with safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment including semi-trucks and trailers per CDL-A.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Adhere to safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
