Lynden Transport is seeking a local driver in Alaska to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, transporting cargo freight to assigned destinations. The role includes loading and unloading, securing loads, and delivering goods following company and regulatory procedures.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement (and possibly doubles endorsement) and be able to read and interpret regulations. Strong safety and attendance are essential in this role.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have current, valid Commercial Driver's License (class A) with hazardous materials endorsement and doubles endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Drives tractor-trailer or straight truck to designated destinations in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
• Loads and unloads cargo, secures loads using straps, tarps, ropes, chains, and other equipment.
• Maintains communication with dispatcher for pickup/delivery instructions.
• Inspects vehicle before, during, and after trips and reports any defects.
• Ensures shipping documents are complete and accurate for shipments.
• Maintains logs, reports safety hazards, and complies with all safety regulations.
