Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus one to two years tractor-trailer driving experience or equivalent.
• Must possess valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements and a current DOT medical card.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to transport freight.
• Inspect truck and trailers for defects to ensure safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips.
• Load and unload cargo and secure shipments using straps and chains.
• Conduct chemical transfer operations and handle hazardous materials per safety procedures.
• Unloads bulk cement using appropriate equipment and follows safety protocols.
• Maintain shipping documents and logs for compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with dispatcher and operate equipment safely in diverse environments.
