Job summary

48forty Solutions in Livonia, MI is seeking a CDL Driver. Earn $26.00/hr with a schedule Monday–Friday, 5:00 am–4:00 pm and occasional Saturdays. You will handle local truckload deliveries, mostly drop and hook, and drive an automatic 53’ truck on 9–11 hour shifts, home daily with weekends off.

Requirements include 1 year of CDL-A driving in the past 3 years, a valid CDL, ability to pass a DOT physical and road test, and clean PSP/mVR records. Read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 2-3 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 9-11 hour shifts.
