Job summary

48forty Solutions in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a CDL Driver to perform local truckload deliveries with no-touch freight and weekend time off. You’ll drive an automatic 53’ tractor-trailer, primarily performing drop-and-hook, and be home daily.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL-A experience within the last 3 years, a valid CDL, and passing a DOT physical and road test; PSP scores must be 10 or below with <=2 moving violations in 3 years. Compensation is $29.50 per hour, with benefits and 401(k) available.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 3-4 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 9–10 hour shifts.
