Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL-A driver in Hammond, LA. Earn $21.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and weekly home time. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, with 500-mile routes, driving a 53’ dry van for 10–12 hour shifts.

Requirements include 1 year of CDL-A driving in the last 3 years, valid license, DOT medical, and a clean PSP and driving record. Benefits include pay, PTO, health coverage, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid CDL license to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a DOT-approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP score 10 or below in the past 3 years – higher scores reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 500 miles; 3-5 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 hour shifts.
