Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Local Driver CDL A to safely transport general commodities between warehouses within Michigan. You will plan trips, perform inspections, and maintain logs while delivering with care and White Glove service as required.

The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience in the last 7 years, pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving in the past 7 years.
• FMCSA and company requirements must be met.
• DOT Physical and Drug Screening completed and cleared.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan trips and communicate delays to the team.
• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate diesel tractor/trailer and deliver safely to destinations.
• Maintain daily logs and required documentation.
• Provide White Glove service at pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere to DOT and OSHA regulations and company policies.
