Job summary

Kenco Group in Michigan is seeking a Local Driver CDL A to safely transport general commodities between warehouses and scheduled destinations. You will operate a diesel tractor/trailer, hold a CDL, and perform mandatory pre/post-trip inspections while delivering with White Glove service where required.

This role requires 2 years of tractor-trailer experience within the last 7 years, compliance with FMCSA regulations, and the ability to travel up to 75%+.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of tractor trailer driving is required within the past 7 years.
• Meets FMCSA and company requirements
• Pass Background Check, DOT Physical and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates the company equipment to deliver product safely and on time.
• Pre plan trip(s) and communicate delays to appropriate team member.
• Maintains driver’s daily logs and other documents as required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment.
• Provides White Glove service at pickups and deliveries.
