Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Portage, MI is seeking a Local Driver CDL B-C to safely transport general commodities between warehouses. This role operates a straight truck and requires a CDL B license. Local Drivers perform daily trips.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, follow DOT/OSHA rules, and provide White Glove service where needed. Kenco offers competitive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience is required within the past 7 years.
• Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
• Pass Background Check, DOT Physical and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates the company equipment to ensure that the product is delivered in a safe and timely manner.
• Pre plan trip(s) and communicate any delays to appropriate team member.
• Maintain driver’s daily logs and other documents as required.
• Perform a full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment operated.
• Provide White Glove service at every pickup and delivery.
• Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations and state laws.
• Travel approximately 75% or greater as required.
