Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Local Driver CDL A in Portage, MI. The role involves safe, timely transport of general commodities between warehouses, with daily trips and required DOT/OSHA compliance. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep logs, and maintain the truck. White Glove service may be assigned for select shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ tractor trailer driving experience.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel tractor/trailer to deliver general commodities between warehouses and destinations.
• Pre plan trips and communicate delays to the team.
• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Provide White Glove service when required and ensure secure handling of shipments.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and adhere to safety policies.
