Job summary

Kenco Group in Portage, MI is seeking a Local Driver CDL A to safely transport general commodities between warehouses and planned destinations. You will operate a diesel tractor/trailer, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and provide White Glove service as needed.

• Requires minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving within the past 7 years.
• Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
• Pass Background Check, DOT Physical and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates the company equipment to deliver goods safely and on time.
• Pre-plan trips and communicate delays to the team.
• Maintain driver logs and required documents.
• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Provide White Glove service at pickups and deliveries.
• Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and compliant with inspections.
