Performance Food Group is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to join their local home-daily delivery team. You will learn to operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks, follow DOT regulations, and deliver food products to customers with professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting trainers, performing safety checks, delivering orders per route, and completing required paperwork. A CDL-A and a clean MVR are required, with a 21+ age minimum and post-offer drug testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent is required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meet state licensing requirements and possess a current DOT health card.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug screen and road test.
• Ability to lift 60–90 pounds and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines and policies.
• Drive to deliver orders on the scheduled route and unload at customer sites.
• Obtain customer signatures and verify deliveries; handle payments if required.
• Maintain secure and clean equipment and complete required paperwork.
