Performance Food Group is seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to learn your way through local and intrastate deliveries. You will train on tractor-trailer or straight truck routes, follow DOT safety regulations, and ensure accurate unloading and paperwork at customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL-A or B if required by position.

Responsibilities

• Attends and completes entry-level driver trainee or dock-to-driver training.
• Rides with and assists driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes.
• Unload products, verify deliveries, obtain signatures and collect payments where required.
