Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking professional CDL-A drivers to operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes. You will ensure safe freight transport in compliance with FMCSA regulations, perform thorough pre-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records.

The role includes local pick-up and delivery, dock work, and occasional over-the-road assignments based on business needs. The position requires hazmat/tanker/doubles endorsements, ability to lift 70 lbs, and passing medical exams and road

Qualifications

Must have valid Class A CDL and FMCSA licensing.
21 years of age or older and 1 year driving experience.
Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
Capable of lifting 70 lbs and performing heavy physical tasks.
Pass FMCSA medical exam, road test, drug screen and background checks.
Ability to read and speak English per FMCSA requirements.
Ability to operate in all terrains and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor/trailer safely in accordance with laws and FMCSA regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
Secure cargo and manage hazardous materials transfers as required.
Comply with all safety policies and company procedures.
Assist with local pick up/delivery and dock work as needed; may drive schedules.
