Job summary

US Foods is hiring a driver for Crestview, FL. You will safely operate a commercial truck, deliver to customers on schedule, unload goods, and collect payments when needed. You’ll verify deliveries with customers, maintain paperwork, and perform regular vehicle inspections.

You must be 21+, hold a valid CDL A with DOT qualifications, and bring 6+ months of driving experience (or 3 months in food/beverage delivery). English literacy required. FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• May be required to operate manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products from trailer using two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and maintain vehicle safety.
