Job Summary

US Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely operate trucks and deliver products to customers. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.61 to $35.58, overtime eligibility, and a $10,000 retention bonus paid over one year.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (4 days per week – example 4 x 10 or 12)
• 3:00 a.m.–5:00 a.m. – must be flexible until work is finished.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
• Drive and work in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

What You Bring to the Table

• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Preferably operate a manual transmission; may be required in specific locations.
• Read, speak, and write English competently for communication and record-keeping.
