Job summary

US Foods is hiring a delivery driver to join our Transportation Team. You will safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle to deliver products to customers, load and unload using a pallet jack or by hand, and verify delivery with signatures. You may handle payments when applicable and perform pre-/post-trip inspections.

Must be at least 21 and able to read/communicate in English. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (three months in food/beverage delivery).
• Able to read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
