Job summary

US Foods is hiring a driver in Pensacola, FL. You will safely drive to customers, unload goods, and ensure on-time deliveries. You will verify accuracy with customers, manage collections when needed, and provide strong customer service on every route.

A valid CDL A, at least 21, and eligible for FMCSA Clearinghouse are required. The role offers a base rate around $300 per day plus incentives, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and enter information on reports and records.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by the Department of Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
