Job summary

Watkins-Distributing in Idaho seeks a Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL to perform local deliveries and merchandising in a defined territory, ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and professionally. The work schedule features four 10-hour shifts.

The role involves pre-trip inspections, route execution with DOT compliance, pallet jack handling, and daily route documentation while coordinating with sales and retail teams.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL and valid medical card.
• Ability to safely maneuver a fully loaded hand truck.
• Ability to operate standard handheld computer and route management devices.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-trip inspection of the assigned vehicle and equipment.
• Drive a designated route, delivering products safely, efficiently, and professionally while complying with all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Unload products from trailers using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Verify deliveries with store personnel and check in all products upon arrival.
• Ensure order accuracy by confirming quantities and obtaining customer signatures.
• Stock cooler space, shelf space, and promotional displays during each delivery.
• Rotate products according to company freshness and merchandising standards.
• Retrieve empty keg shells, damaged merchandise, and incorrectly ordered products for return credit.
• Collect invoices and complete all required route documentation on a daily basis.
• Maintain effective communication with sales representatives and retail account personnel.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
