Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver in San Diego to deliver meats, produce, and other goods to customer sites. You will ensure on-time delivery, unload items, and verify deliveries with customers while maintaining high service standards.

Qualified applicants have a CDL Class A, a high school diploma or GED, and are able to pass a DOT physical. Local routes and a 4x10 or 5-day schedule with Sundays off are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with endorsements if required.
• No major infractions in past 3 years; DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products and place items in customer storage area.
• Verify deliveries with customers and collect payments as needed.
• Operate with safety and customer service as priorities.
• Maintain productivity and support on-time routes, including inclement weather.
