Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in California to support foodservice routes. Expect long 10-12 hour shifts, 4-day work weeks, with dispatch between 12AM–3AM and no Sundays.

You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely delivery and courteous customer interactions across intrastate and interstate routes. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), 1 year of commercial driving experience, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience; valid CDL-A.
• Clean MVR history; pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of freight; inspect invoices.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and route documentation.
• Follow DOT and company safety policies and report hazards.
• Keep tractor, trailer and freight secured at all times.
• Operate in a professional manner, communicate with customers and co-workers.
