Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL A to operate local routes and deliver meat, produce, and other goods to our customers. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, unloading with a hand truck, and ensuring accuracy at each drop site.

Candidates must have a CDL A, DOT qualifications, and be at least 21 years old. Six months of driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery is required, along with the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer sites.
• Meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
• Unload products with a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas.
• Perform repeated, heavy lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Make frequent stops and operate in various weather conditions.
• Verify deliveries with customers.
