Job summary

Sinewave Electrical Contractors, part of GenusPlus Group, is seeking experienced Local Electricians to support mining projects in the Pilbara region from Tom Price.

You will perform installation, maintenance and testing on industrial sites, uphold safety standards and work with site teams and Rio Tinto/FMG clients. Applicants should hold WA Electrical Workers Licence and trade qualifications; a safety-focused mindset and ability to work independently are valued.

About the Opportunity

Based in Tom Price, Sinewave Electrical Contractors are seeking experienced Local Electricians to join our team and support the delivery of electrical projects and maintenance activities across major mining operations throughout the Pilbara.

Working directly for Rio Tinto, FMG, and other approved contractors, you will contribute to a diverse range of work scopes, from large-scale project installations through to routine maintenance, testing and fault-finding activities.

This operational mining environment requires strong technical capability, adaptability and a commitment to safety and quality. You'll have the opportunity to work independently and as part of larger site crews, supporting critical mining infrastructure across the region.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Performing electrical installation, maintenance and testing works across mining and industrial sites.
• Maintaining a strong safety focus and complying with all site and client requirements.
• Diagnosing faults and delivering quality workmanship across a range of electrical systems.
• Working collaboratively with site teams, contractors and client representatives to achieve project outcomes.

About You

You're a safety-focused, reliable and motivated Electrician who takes pride in producing quality work and contributing positively to the team around you.

You will bring:

• WA Electrical Workers Licence and relevant trade qualifications.
• Experience working within mining, resources, industrial or heavy commercial environments.
• Strong fault-finding, maintenance and installation skills.
• The ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• A commitment to safety, continuous learning and professional conduct.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.
