Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking experienced Transmission Linespeople for the Clean Energy Link North project in Western Australia. You will join a specialist crew delivering critical overhead transmission line infrastructure, including 132kV and 330kV works, tower erection and conductor stringing.

You will contribute to safe, efficient construction of new lines and related works, collaborating with experienced team members on site across the project scope.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.

• Strong understanding of transmission construction practices and site safety requirements.

Join Genus on the Clean Energy Link North project delivering major transmission infrastructure across Western Australia.

Genus is delivering the Clean Energy Link North project, one of Western Australia’s major transmission infrastructure projects, supporting the connection of renewable energy into the state’s electricity network.

We are seeking experienced Transmission Linespeople with proven experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line construction to join our project team.

This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale transmission project involving 132kV and 330kV transmission infrastructure, including new line construction, tower erection, conductor stringing and associated transmission works.

About the Role

As a Transmission Linesperson, you will be part of a specialist transmission crew delivering critical infrastructure across Western Australia.

Your experience will contribute to the safe and efficient construction of new overhead transmission lines, including:

• Steel tower assembly and erection
• Conductor stringing, sagging and clipping
• Installation of transmission line hardware and fittings
• Working on 132kV and 330kV transmission infrastructure
• Carrying out line construction activities in accordance with project

Requirements

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
• Working collaboratively as part of an experienced transmission team

About the Project Clean Energy Link North includes:

• Construction of new transmission lines
• New 330kV and 132kV terminal builds at Regans Ford and Eneabba
• Augmentation of existing 330kV Northern Terminal and Eneabba Terminal
• Existing line conversion works
• Network reinforcement works to increase renewable energy transfer capability across Western Australia

About You To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience working on overhead transmission line projects
• Experience in tower erection and/or conductor stringing crews
• Strong understanding of transmission construction practices and site safety requirements

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30621) or equivalent transmission experience
