Job summary

The Mather, a Life Plan Community in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a dedicated Lobby Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families and guests. You will deliver warm welcomes, coordinate information, assist with transportation, and support front desk operations with a team-focused approach.

• Greet residents, visitors, and team members with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Provide concierge services including information, assistance, and coordination of resident requests.
• Monitor lobby area to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Support transportation coordination for residents in a safe and enjoyable manner.
• Provides administrative support for the update, storage and distribution of directories, Concierge handbook, safety and emergency procedures, parking assignments, training materials and participation, and other documents.
• Collaborate with a self-directed team to ensure seamless front desk operations.
• Demonstrate “Nextraordinary” service behaviors that enhance the resident experience.

This is a full-time hourly position. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday availability required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required:

• Greet residents, visitors, and team members with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Provide concierge services including information, assistance, and coordination of resident requests.
• Monitor lobby area to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Support transportation coordination for residents in a safe and enjoyable manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required:

• College or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with older adults.
• Willingness to be part of a self-directed team.
• Valid drivers' license and excellent driving record.
• Service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task.
• MS Office proficiency.

Preferred:

• College degree.
• Concierge services experience.

The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions. This position may be eligible to participate in Mather’s benefit plan and the Team Member Appreciation Fund, if applicable. Eligibility for benefits is dependent on employment status and hours worked per pay period. Hourly Pay Range: $20.50 USD - $23.50 USD
