Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Lobby Greeter to coordinate ambulatory patient access tasks including front desk service, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and charge entry. This per diem role supports the Ambulatory Department.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent, strong English communication, confidentiality, and the ability to stand for 12 hours.
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all the functions and activities related to ambulatory patient access including, but not limited to: front end customer service, patient registration, insurance/coverage verification, appointment scheduling, charge entry, and a variety of administrative duties in support of department (such as, handling forms, phones, filing, making appointments, photocopying, faxing, mailings, letters, reports, etc.). The position is Lobby Greeter. Department: Ambulatory. Float Admin. Schedule: Per Diem.
Compensation Range: $20.23- $24.65. This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
