Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Lobby Concierge to respond to guest requests with exceptional hospitality and local knowledge, part of the Rooms Division and reporting to the Concierge Management Team. The role requires valid work authorization in the United States at the time of application.

Responsibilities include assisting guests with hotel services, events, directions, and local recommendations, and ensuring accurate, timely communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel or concierge environment preferred.
• Knowledge of local attractions, venues, and activities.
• Proficient keyboarding and computer skills.
• Able to read and speak English.

Lobby Concierge

Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies. This role is part of the Rooms Division, reporting to the Concierge Management Team. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
• Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current. Knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.

What You Will Bring

• Luxury Hotel Experience Preferred
• Requires a working knowledge of the Concierge aspect of Four Seasons services, policies, and Resort operations.
• Requires working knowledge of activities and points of interest.
• Requires keyboarding and computer skills.
• Able to read and speak English.
