Job summary

Detroit’s Colony Club is seeking a Lobby Attendant/Security Guard for overnight shifts to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and vendors. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, 11pm–7am, 32 hours per week.

The role combines security duties with light janitorial tasks and guest logging in a professional setting. Responsibilities include greeting tenants and vendors, monitoring security cameras, providing building information, and reporting issues to the on-duty manager.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Experience as lobby attendant/security preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Detroit’s Colony Club is looking for a Lobby Attendant/Security Guard to provide an excellent tenant experience. All applicants must be able to take direction well, work well with others, have strong customer service skills, and have a professional appearance. All applicants must pass a background check.

Previous lobby attendant/security guard experience is preferred.

Schedule is firm for Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, from 11pm to 7am, 4 days per week = 32 hours.

Responsibilities

• Stay tenant focused to provide an excellent tenant experience
• Greet tenants and vendors in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival and departure to the building
• Provide tenants and vendors with information pertaining to the building
• Light janitorial work required – running floor machines through hallways, removing garbage, etc.
• Report any suspicious activity to the manager on duty
• Log any guests and vendors of the building
• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a clean and safe lobby environment
• Walk the floors of the building, make manager on duty aware of any building issues
