Job summary

Courtyard Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking an energetic Housekeeping Associate to maintain guest rooms to high cleanliness standards. You will clean and prepare rooms, restock supplies, and ensure each space meets presentation guidelines.

You will work as part of a team to deliver courteous service, uphold safety procedures, and support a positive guest experience. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred but training is offered.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Reliable and punctual in daily shifts.
• Clear, professional communication with guests and teammates.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms per Marriott and hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, towels and supplies.
• Sanitize bathrooms, floors and furniture thoroughly.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop assigned areas.
• Restock amenities as needed.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow Lost & Found procedures.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop assigned guest rooms and areas.

• Inspect rooms to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
• Follow proper Lost & Found procedures.
• Maintain and properly use housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Respect guest privacy and hotel property at all times.
• Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests.
• Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
