Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Business Initiative Associate to drive process optimization and transformation within the Loan Trading team.

You will partner with Operations, Technology, Product, and Controls to identify opportunities, translate them into prioritized initiatives, and drive end-to-end execution to improve efficiency, controls, and business impact. This role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, leading change initiatives, and delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years in syndicated loan operations, business management, process improvement, or related areas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with root-cause analysis.
Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end, with planning, milestones and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks within Loan Trading Operations and recommend sustainable solutions.
Lead and support initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
Partner with Technology and Product teams to design, prioritize, and implement strategic enhancements.
Gather stakeholder feedback to identify pain points and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate operational risks and implement mitigating controls with Control partners.
Support business resiliency by maintaining continuity and recovery plans.
Document procedures and ensure alignment with current practices.
Maintain RBAC governance and policy adherence.
Monitor progress and drive timely execution of deliverables.
Promote continuous improvement and operational discipline.
