Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Business Initiative Associate for the Loan Trading team within Commercial & Investment Banking.

You will promote process optimization, business transformation, and operational excellence across Loan Trading, collaborating with Operations, Technology, Product, Controls, and Business Resiliency to translate opportunities into prioritized initiatives and drive end-to-end execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years in syndicated loan operations, business management, process improvement, or related fields.
Proficient understanding of syndicated loan processing and industry platforms like Loan IQ and ClearPar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with root-cause identification.

Responsibilities

Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks within Loan Trading Operations and recommend sustainable solutions.
Lead and support initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
Partner with Technology and Product teams to design, prioritize, and implement strategic enhancements.
Gather stakeholder feedback to identify pain points and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate operational risks and collaborate with Control partners to implement mitigating controls.
Support business resiliency activities by maintaining continuity and recovery plans.
