Job summary

Consumers Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Loan Servicing Coordinator to join our Kalamazoo team. The role focuses on accurate post-production processing, member service, and servicing portfolio maintenance, with a culture of continuous improvement and automation.

You will work on items such as GAP refunds, SCRA processing, and internal balance and payoff activities, while supporting colleagues and striving for high quality results.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and efficiency.
• Comfort with using MS Office and standard software tools.

Responsibilities

• Obtain dealer GAP refunds for early loan payoffs.
• Handle SCRA processing and successor in interest requests.
• Process internal servicing requests and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Assist in GAP claim filings and payoff letter requests.
• Monitor volume and quality metrics and meet/exceed targets.
• Support team in various areas as directed by leadership.

Loan Servicing Coordinator

Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Loan Servicing Coordinator to join our team.As a Loan Servicing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing superior member service, accurate and timely maintenance and processing post-production for the Credit Union’s servicing portfolio. This is an innovative and everchanging department that encourages ideas for improvement and automation from all team members. What you’ll be doing:

• Primarily responsible for:
  • Obtain dealer GAP refunds for early loan payoffs
  • Successor in Interest Requests
  • SCRA Processing
  • Internal processing requests
• Assist in other areas including:
  • Assisting in GAP claim filing
  • Handle phone calls from retail staff and members
  • Fulfill requests for payoff letters
  • Process lien termination statements
  • Scan and Index documents into record retention system
• Meet or exceed all volume and quality goals.
• Assist in any area as directed by your leader

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Prior financial institution experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Proven track record of process improvements
