Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Loan Resolution Specialist I to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. You will work across legal, compliance, operations and servicing to resolve delinquency and protect customers.

You will handle outbound calls, emails, and skip tracing; document interactions; and ensure adherence to regulations. A customer-first mindset and accurate, collaborative work style are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Collections or Customer Service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with early stage delinquent customers via outbound calls/emails/texts to resolve delinquency and reduce losses.
• Recommends appropriate payment programs to assist customers in hardship.
• Handles inbound delinquency, hardship, complaints, and loan-related inquiries via calls/emails/texts.
• Notifies third-party servicers of account changes or required adjustments.
• Resolves escalated customer issues by phone or email and documents outcomes.
• Performs skip tracing as needed to locate delinquent customers.
• Adheres to Dividend policies and applicable state and federal collection regulations.
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
