Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation in Hermitage, PA is seeking a Loan Processor 1 in Retail Lending to handle initial and later-stage processing of consumer and small business credit applications across branches, mail, web, and dealer channels.

You will collaborate with underwriters, prep pre- and post-closing packages, and maintain knowledge of current loan products and procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in loan processing or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficient PC skills; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Ability to work across channels (branch, direct mail, web, dealer).

Responsibilities

• Process all applications in the loan origination system from consumers and small businesses across delivery channels.
• Analyze, review, correct, and compile credit, collateral, and compliance documents.
• Prepare loan applications in pre-closing and post-closing phases.
• Serve as branch contact to obtain missing or corrected information.
• Serve as dealer contact and provide required documents and forms.
• Order loan reports and review for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with underwriters to improve turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor department emails for essential processing information.
• Maintain knowledge of current loan products, rates, and procedures.
• Provide coverage in high-volume periods and assist in other areas as needed.
