Job summary

Travis Credit Union is seeking a Loan Processing Specialist to handle consumer loan applications, excluding Real Estate/Home loans. You will verify documentation, ensure policy compliance, and promote suitable products to deepen member relationships.

The role is onsite, 40 hours per week, temporary up to 6 months, with a base hourly rate in the 22.80–28.17 range and comprehensive benefits. Strong communication and accuracy are essential to success.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of consumer loan processing or equivalent loan work experience.
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
• Ability to identify and advocate financial solutions that meet member needs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with members and partners to provide quality service and promote products.
• Analyze and validate supporting documentation for consumer loan applications.
• Interpret approvals/conditions and ensure all requirements are met.
• Monitor loan queues and assist with department reports and campaigns.
