Job summary

The Fidelity Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to support loan officers with processing, documentation, and closings. The role ensures compliance with FDIC and bank guidelines while assisting with new loan requests and portfolio management.

Responsibilities include data input, document review, exceptions handling, and coordination of title searches, appraisals, and income verifications. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years banking experience or equivalent.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Analytical ability to review customer information against credit criteria.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer and loan information into the loan documentation system accurately.
• Assist with loan closing: packaging, closing, and post-closing duties.
• Follow up on document exceptions and minimize them.
• Assist with past due collections efforts.
• Order and review property title searches, appraisals, flood determinations, income verifications; prepare attorney instruction letters and loan commitments.
• Assist with new loan requests: data input and financial information gathering for accuracy.
• Assist with loan renewals, modifications and portfolio management.
