Job summary

Westmark Credit Union seeks a Universal Loan Processor to support the lending process by reviewing loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, processing maintenance, and calculating payoffs for consumer and business loans. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve issues while collaborating with the Central Loan Processing team.

Schedule is an average of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in consumer or business lending or loan processing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to review detailed information and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with personal computers and 10-key calculators.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Review consumer and business loans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending guidelines, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation and follow up for corrections or additional information.
• Review loan forms and supporting documentation to ensure information is consistent and properly completed.
• Process loan maintenance requests in accordance with procedures and guidelines; calculate payoff amounts.
• Maintain organized loan files and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide backup and support to Branch Processing teams and collaborate with CLP Manager.
