Job summary

Mid America Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Processing Manager to lead the Loan Processing Department in our Wardsville location. You will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure accurate, efficient loan processing across the bank.

In this role you will develop staff, streamline workflows, document procedures, and partner with Lending, Compliance, IT, and Audit to support lending goals and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of loan processing, loan operations, or related banking experience.
• Strong understanding of loan processing systems, documentation, controls, and workflow management; proficiency in loan software and MS Office.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience; ability to coach and set priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Loan Processing team.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of loans, renewals, and modifications.
• Manage departmental workflow, quality standards, and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary resource for loan processing systems, technology, and reporting.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate across the organization to support lending and operational goals.
• Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, vendor management, and procedural changes.
