Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work with loan documents and loan files, including preparation, review, and organization.
• Knowledge of loans and basic lending processes, with understanding of consumer and/or commercial lending preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Familiarity with underwriting concepts and assisting with collecting and verifying information for credit decisions.
• Experience or aptitude in loan processing, including data entry, documentation tracking, and workflow coordination.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping; strong organizational skills.
• Comfort with banking software, document management systems, and standard office applications (Word, Excel).
• Customer service mindset, professionalism, and handling confidential information responsibly.
• High school diploma or equivalent; banking/finance coursework is a plus.
• Prior banking or lending experience preferred but not required.
