Job summary

AgSouth is seeking a Loan Processing Coordinator to join our Farm Credit family. This role handles pre-closing loan activities, prepares and disburses proceeds, and ensures accurate and compliant documentation.

You will collaborate with the branch to meet customer needs, provide loan processing support, and assist with administrative tasks at the location. Responsibilities include preparing documents, supporting closings, and ensuring timely, accurate processing; delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 0-3 years of related work experience.
• Good knowledge of general office routine and office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and branch contacts.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply new procedures.
• Completes routine tasks accurately and timely.
• Effective, basic, and efficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office programs.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Has robust follow-up system to ensure loan support administration.
• Ability to work independently and on a team with minimal instruction.
• Willingness to travel overnight for learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Lending Loan Processing Support: Prepare and verify loan documents, commitment letters, disclosures, closing papers, and other time-sensitive information; coordinate with attorneys, appraisers, and insurance agents; support loan closings in collaboration with loan officer.
• Customer Service Support: Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous service; handle daily receipts/disbursements; maintain loan information and policies.
• Location/Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties; maintain internal controls in line with loan operations and accounting principles.
