Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Loan Origination Associate in Charlotte, NC for a 3-month contract. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in loan origination, with expertise in LoanIQ, legal documentation review, and loan syndication or commercial lending.

Roles include coordinating across teams to close loans, reviewing documents, and ensuring timely, accurate execution. In-office work schedule is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with peak periods at month- and quarter-ends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in loan origination or closely related field with collaboration to finalize deals.
• Ability to interpret legal documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Prepare and dispatch documentation packages, ensuring compliance with credit and asset conditions.
• Provide seamless support from mandate to close, applying critical thinking to anticipate business needs.
• Contribute to projects that improve processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in loan origination, LoanIQ, legal documentation review, and loan syndication/commercial lending and a proven ability to facilitate end-to-end loan closings and drive stakeholder alignment for timely, accurate execution.

Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in loan origination or a closely related field with 2+ years of experience, including conflict resolution through collaborative solutions.
• Advanced strategic planning with sound resource allocation decisions.
• Strong critical thinking for evaluating loan transactions and enabling informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in time management and organization to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and execution to drive end-to-end deals, align stakeholders, and deliver consistent outcomes.

Additional Details

Role is RTH. Post-conversion grade: 502 or 601 depending on experience.

Work location: Charlotte, NC.

In-office presence: 100%.

Work schedule: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with peak times at month-end and quarter-end. Occasional ad hoc overtime.

Interview process: One round with Hiring Manager and Team Lead. ED optional.
