ROLE SUMMARY
Supervises the Loan Operations Department, which includes the following:
- Loan Customer Service
- Loan File Management
- Responsible for Review of all Loan File Maintenance and New Loan Boarding
- Ensures accurate and timely servicing of the Bank’s Loan Portfolio.
- Ensures that Loan Service activities are completed in compliance with applicable government regulations and bank policy.
- Provides supervision and training to Department staff.
- Ensures quality customer relations and service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all new loans are accurately boarded into the Loan Servicing Data System.
- Supervises workflow and delegates assignments.
- Prepares/Reviews Escrow Analysis for all Direct Lending loans on Escrow.
- Maintains the HMDA LAR for Direct Lending loans.
- Reviews new loans for FHLB Pledgeability.
- Ensures the GL Application balances for Direct Lending loans.
- Daily/Monthly GL Reconciliation for Direct Lending loan GLs.
- Flood Insurance Monitoring, Force Place Communication and Monitoring
- Supervises servicing of all Direct Lending loans, modifications, real estate taxes, hazard and flood insurance, payoffs, lien releases for paid off loans, billing statements and notices.
- Provides supervision and direction to the following functions:
General Customer Service
File Management
Core Loan System Maintenance
Department Workflow and Assignments
- Coordinates activities with appropriate loan officers regarding litigation.
- Assists manager with maintaining and updating the Loan Operations Manual.
- Ensures compliance with flood insurance regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and training to departmental staff.
- Participates in hire/fire/salary actions/decisions for departmental staff.
- Completes departmental performance evaluations as required.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required Education/Experience:
- High school or general education degree
- Minimum five years related experience in loan servicing and operations.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration, real estate, or related field.
CERTIFICATIONS

- Strong knowledge of servicing commercial, construction, and real estate loans.
- Strong knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance and loan regulations; bank operational and lending policies and procedures, and bank products and services.
